Parenting is filled with tender moments, joyful times, sweet memories---and often lots of challenges! As parents it is our responsibility to help our children learn to manage their behavior and control their emotions in appropriate ways. But how?

Guiding young children can be tough! It is a part of all that we do with our children. To discipline means to teach. It is not punishment! Discipline involves setting appropriate limits, being consistent and fair, and following through firmly, but with love. This section offers ideas and tips to help parents learn how to have more order in the household!

PAL wants to encourage and support you in becoming a more confident parent. Let's face it…when babies are born, they don't come with "instructions!" With today's stresses and problems we all just need a little help. PAL is designed to provide helpful assistance and information to moms, dads, grandparents, and relatives whose children are ages birth to twelve.
